We utilize YouTube Live for all of our client's Live Streaming needs, which is broadcast from our professional video cameras (not iPad, cell phones, laptops or webcams). The footage from our professional cameras looks, well, professional. Youtube Live is a much better platform than Facebook Live or Zoom in that all that needs to be done by the end user is to click on a link that we'd provide to tune-in to your scheduled Live Stream, and the stream is saved on YouTube afterwards so it can be watched anytime after the actual event! We are open to other platforms if Youtube is not an option.
Email Matt with any questions! matt@editinglife.com
We can provide you with a link to your wedding stream upon booking. All you need to do is share that with your friends and family in order for them to tune in when the time comes. No special software is required. We begin well in advance of the start of the ceremony, and we'll also provide you with a PA system and microphone for optimal sound (if not already provided by your DJ or MC). We suggest (insist, really) the use of the hand held microphone for your vows and ring exchange. Your officiant can use it during the rest of the ceremony so everyone at home can hear what's happening. Check out the wedding Live Stream sample to the left for an idea of what to expect.
We highly recommend checking with your venue first as many religious venues have also adopted Live Streaming as an option for their patrons, sometimes free of charge. The video to the right is an example of what we could do for the Memorial Service you may be planning.
The video to the left is an example of a general speaking event.
We can add live-streaming to any event you've already booked with us. Inquire with Matt about pricing and availability (limited on weekends during peak wedding season). Rates for a Live Stream are generally around $300-400 in conjunction with a regular video package, wedding or otherwise.
Rates below are for just live streaming. All live streaming requires either a strong Wifi signal at your venue, or a strong Verizon Wireless LTE signal (at least 3-4 bars) for our Wifi hotspot to connect to. In the event our stream fails at your event due to a signal issue, we will quickly provide a recording of your event (usually within a day or two).
-Wedding Live Stream & Recording up to 2 Hours (Saturdays between April-October): $1200
-Wedding Live Stream & Recording up to 2 Hours (any other time less major holidays): $800
These options are good for Ceremony Coverage, formal photos after the ceremony, and potentially the first portion of any reception, including a first dance, toasts, etc.* We'll also provide a basic recording of any major event we're on hand to film. Extra hours $300.
-Wedding Live Stream up to 1 Hour (not available on some weekends between April-October): $600
Live Streaming a ceremony, up to an hour long, with a basic recording.
-Memorial up to 2 Hours (Saturdays between April-October): $1200
-Memorial up to 2 Hours (any other time less major holidays): $800
These options are good for Memorials up to two hours in length, including the service and time for guests leaving remarks. Can also be applied to an outdoor Funeral, but please inquire with us first with your exact plans as being outdoors can present it's challenges with strength of signal, etc.* We'll provide a basic recording of the service as well.
-Memorial up to 1 Hour (not available on some weekends between April-October): $600
-Event up to 2 Hours (Saturdays between April-October): $1200
-Event up to 2 Hours (any other time less major holidays): $800
This option is good for any type of event up to two hours in length, single camera. Inquire about pricing for multi-camera shoots (sideshow integration, for example). Basic recording included.
-Event up to 1 Hour (not available on weekends between April-October): $600 (single camera)
Once again, if you'd also like to professionally record your event, we can add live streaming to any Wedding or event package you may have already booked with us.
* Any events covered by a livestream must happen in the same general area for it all to be in the same livestream. In the event your ceremony and reception are in two different venues, there would not be enough time to break the equipment down and move to another location. We can, however, move the equipment to different spots at the same venue (for example, ceremony outside and then reception inside at the same complex), but would have to create two separate livestream links for both the ceremony, then reception events.
